Sights on London streets

This week I took my camera with me for a couple of days - and just snapped pictures of what I saw on the streets. These are some common sights you can see often on any London street.

All workers on the street wear these colorful and highly visible reflective vests while they are on the job.

These are the machines they use to clean the sidewalks here in London. I think they do a very good job, too.

Women wear long, colorful scarves. Now that the weather is getting cooler, we will see even more of them.

This woman has on sparkling bright green shoes. (They reminded me of the ruby shoes in the Wizard of Oz.) It’s not common to see green shoes like these, but it is fairly common to see women wearing very colorful shoes that stand out from everything else.

Well, this isn’t a common sight, but it’s a recognizable one. Wimpole Street. It sounds familiar, right?
