Remember the Mayflower
During our recent day-long tour through Kent (southeast of London), the guide pointed out the Mayflower bushes that bloom with pretty white flowers in May.
Do you suppose the famous Mayflower ship that carried Pilgrims to our lands was named for these blooms? I wonder if the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) know.
