Family goes home

Kris and Rich left this morning, and for the first time in two weeks, it is raining again here in London. All during their visit, the weather was warm and bright and sunny. It was almost like summertime. Londoners put away their winter coats and were wearing sandals and lightweight clothing. We were very happy that the weather was so good during our family's visit.

Now it seems as if they have taken the sunshine with them -- in more ways than one. It was a wonderful visit with the whole family, and we miss them already.

Today, Carl is working from home. I will have a quiet day, just reading and relaxing, and doing laundry. Maybe we'll nap later on -- especially if the rain keeps up.
